Prestigious 4-person Internal Medicine Group in Glendale, California is seeking a BE/BC Internal Medicine or Family Practice physician to associate and build a practice. The group has been in existence since 1988. 2 physicians in the group are presently in concierge model, affiliated with MDVIP. Group is low volume, high service, all cash, Medicare; no HMO.

Verdugo Internal Medicine was established in 1988 with the purpose of creating an environment conducive to providing excellent primary care. The practice is located in La Canada-Flintridge, California, one of the premier communities of the foothills. The La Canada public school system consistently ranks as one of the top public schools in California. 2 of the physicians in the practice have been in the Concierge model, affiliated with MDVIP, for the last 8 years. The remainder of the physicians accept Medicare, but are not contracted with insurance and are predominantly reimbursed directly by patients. The practice is centered on providing adequate time with patients to provide excellent and personal preventative and diagnostic care.

The present opportunity is the result of the retirement of a senior physician after 27 years with the practice. Her concierge practice will be taken over by another associated, leaving an opening for a 4th physician to grow a partially established practice. The position would initially be as a part-time associate, with potential to grow to full time, and become a full partner in the group.
